Slovenia: Mountaineering to Storžič, Badminton Tournament

Another back-country skiing event with ŠKD Indijanci (29th of the series of recreations) took us to Dom pod Storžičem mountain hut, where we left the car and started walking towards the mountain Storžič. We decided to take the Kramarjeva grapa (ravine) to climb up and this was the most difficult route so far for me.

Finally at the top

It was very cloudy and foggy at the top and we didn't exactly know which way down we have to take to ski in Peto žrelo (Fifth ravine), so we decided to be smart and walk down the easy southern slope of Storžič to Kališče and Mače. The mountain will still be there for us next time and it was more than fun to walk down 8 kilometres in ski boots. Every man should try it.

In the afternoon Sport Society ŠD Podljubelj organised a Badminton Tournament where 5 women and 16 men attended, inducing me. In the end I had 2 wins and 2 loses and that was good enough for 4.-8. place.
