Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Krim and Xmas Evening @ Velika Planina

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a eighth morning hike (11th overall). Our destination this time was Krim, 1107 m.

Trigonometric point on top was used as a starting point for cadastral surveying of Carniola, Istria and Slovenian Littoral. 

We took the route Čez Strmec up and Čez Kramarco down

ŠKD Indijanci - Hike #11

It was Christmas Eve and for a Midnight Mass we decided to go to the Chapel of Snow Mary (Kapela Marije Snežne) on Velika planina, 1560 m. Since the weather wasn't nice, only Boštjan and Nada joined me. On the top it was very windy and the visibility was very bad, nevertheless we didn't give up and we witnessed the birth of Jesus Christ.
