Australia: Day 21: Great Ocean Road & The Grampians: Day 3

The most interesting part of Great Ocean Road was behind us, so we decided to discover The Grampians National Park. Since we were camping by the road, we packed early in the morning and left towards Dunkeld, where we had breakfast on a windy parking lot.

Approaching The Grampians

Breakfast by the road B100 (Glenelg Highway) in windy conditions. After that we visited local tourist information centre in Dunkeld, where we received some material (Grampians National Park - Visitor Guide, pdf) for the day.

Quick stop by the Lake Bellfield on our way to Halls Gap. After that we stopped in another tourist centre, where they gave us hiking directions. They suggested the hike through the Grand Canyon and Silent Street to Pinnacle.

Dinner (tortillas with sausages and vegetables) in Horsham, where we found another free barbecue place.

Crossing the border from Victoria to South Australia, where you have to dump all your "dangerous" food and adjust your clocks for half an hour. Since we ran out of our food, I checked if there was something still edible inside the bin.

It was already late, so we parked our car next to the road close to Kingston, set the tents and drank a little bit of  South Australian wine. Good night.

Third day on Great Ocean Road with Stella, Kristina and Bruno. Warrnambool - Dunkeld - Halls Gap - Horsham - Kingston.
