With some local guys, we decided to do a
backcountry skiing trip to
Palec. Mihael, Aleks, Marko, Roman, Žiga and me gathered on Ljubelj and our journey began. We passed the
Dom na Zelenici mountain hut and soon we were cirque valley called Suho Ruševje. At the saddle between
Zelenjak and Palec, called
Žleb, we left our
skis and put on the
crampons. With the help of the
ice axes we conquered the summit of Palec. Hard work was behind us and we just enjoyed in the skiing back to the valley.
