The snow keeps falling on our land and for today, I decided to hike to Prelaz Ljubelj. Some paths were still unspoiled.

Slovenia: Zelenica

Winter season started today. Some snow fell onto our land and I immediately decided to test it with a hike to Dom na Zelenici mountain hut, 1536 m.

Slovenia: Hike with Bronco

Another lunch on the fresh air with Bronco. We explored the area near Mošenik creek and visited two memorial plaques, dedicated to the guys, who were saving the ibex colony in 1979.

Capricorns were almost extinct in the Alps in the 19th century. The colony lived in this area almost till the end of 20th century.

Slovenia: Hike & Fly - Potočnikova planina

On our 2nd babysitting day Nada and me took my nephews into the mountains. Since Tim and Matic are already strong guys, I let them carry my paraglider and I think I will let them do that more often. Without any issues we reached Koča na Prevalu mountain hut and Potočnikova planina. We had a short break on the sun and then we continued to the take off site, from where I flew back to the valley and they returned on the same way.

 

My help was effective.

Slovenia: Baby Sitters

This weekend, Nada and me were baby sitters. We had to take care of my nephews, Klara, Matic and Tim. Our day was quite simple. After the breakfast we took the Bronco and together we went for a short walk. After lunch we drove to Ljubljana, where Matic had a handball game in Kodeljevo sports hall. We dropped him off and then we had a quick walk in the centre of Ljubljana. After a snack we joined him in the hall and we watched the match between RD Slovan and RK Radovljica. The match ended with 32-32 and afterwards we just went back home to a dinner.

Trdelník is a desert, that we liked in Prague. We found it in Ljubljana under the name Kurtoš, derived from Kürtőskalács, and the kids also liked it.

 

No eating in the car rule.
