Slovenia: MTB - Uskovnica and Zajamniki

Nada, Vlado, Baki and me drove to Srednja Vas v Bohinju, where we parked our cars and saddled the bikes. Nice gravel road led us to Koča na Uskovnici mountain hut, where we had a short break. We continued to the natural health resort near Uskovnica, where we refilled our lost life energies. Our next stop was picturesque mountain pasture Planina Zajamniki and we were finally able to take the beers out of our backpacks. After the photo session we moved on to our next stop, village Koprivnik, where Baki's friend Gašper picked us up. We had a short ride with the help of a tractor to his home. Tina brought the beers and schnapps and we were stuck for a while. Every fairy tale has to end and so did this one, with a ride back to Srednja vas.

My random generator told me to sit on energy point number 2. Baki told me, that this spot heals spine, sciatica and gout.

Our next stop was mountain pasture Planina Zajamniki.

Zajamniki is just one of the numerous mountain pastures in Triglav National Park, but it has the most unique and spectacular view over Triglav.

In Koprivnik we called for help. We were thirsty again.

 

Our ride Gašper was quickly on the scene.

We left  Gašper, Tina, Tito and Momo and the decision was made, that we will soon return back to this area. On our way back we rode through Jereka.
