Croatia: Foo Fighters in Pula Arena

Concert of the year in our neighborhood was definitely the sold out concert of Foo Fighters in nearby Pula’s Roman Amphitheatre in Croatia. One of the biggest rock bands in the last 20 years, led by a sweat-drenched Dave Grohl, entertained the crowd of 7000 people. The show at Pula Arena kicked off with openers Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes getting the party started before Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee took to the stage just after 9 pm and we all received a dosage of 3 hours of pure rock and roll.

The Pula Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre to have four side towers and with all three Roman architectural orders entirely preserved. It was constructed in 27 BC – 68 AD and is among the world's six largest surviving Roman arenas.

Ticket for the concert of the year

The tickets were sold out in mere two minutes. Well, we still got them.

Tuši & Nada

Attended the best rock concert since Pula Colosseum was built.

Foo Fighters opened the show with "All my life" performed infront of the completely packed Stadium, continued by "Learn to Fly" and "The Pretender" which form the Holy Trinity of their toughest sounding hits.
