Slovenia: Road Cycling to Waterfall Šum

Weather was warmer and it was time to take the road bikes out. With Nada we did a nice and easy circle from Križe to Kranj and back. On our way we stopped by the unknown Waterfall Šum in Zgornja Besnica. Waterfall Šum, also known as Nemilje Šum is 22 meters tall

 

Waterfall Šum on Nemiljščica stream use to be a very popular tourist destination in the beginning of the 20 th century. Even postcards were made. Nowdays it seemed to be forgotten and hiden in a wild ravine.
