Slovenia: Lenuhova ravine to Begunjska Vrtača and Handball Match

The spring quickly reduces our snow supplies, still you can find plenty of it in the mountains. Lovro, Rok and me decided to smell it in the slopes of Begunjska Vrtača, unpopular and unnoticed peak in Begunjščica massif. To conquer it, we climbed the Lenuhova ravine, IV-, 55°/40°-50°, 300 m. Lovro and me descended with skis, while Rok did a normal descent via Šentanski plaz.

Ascending on the slopes of ex ski resort

Skinning was finished and we entered the ravine

Rok and Lovro followed my steps

The difficult part was behind us

Just the unspoiled nature ahead of us

Our magnificent view to nearby peaks and Šentanska valley

A little bit of climbing and backcountry skiing

My nephews Matic and Tim play for RK Radovljica and Matic scored in this action.

RK Radovlijca won
