Slovenia: Grne

Our great chef at our work, Vlado, prepared a special food for the chosen ones. It was Grne, traditional Macedonian cuisine. The dish is cooked in clay pot, called grne, and consists of various types of meat and vegetables. One word: delicious!

After work, Nada and me picked up a couple o GeoCaches around Komenda and Šenčur.

A square in front of the parish church dedicated to Saint Peter and a monument dedicated to Peter Pavel Glavar, a Carniolan Roman Catholic priest, beekeeper, writer, and businessman.

A pond near Šenčur

Twin churches with a single shared spire in the village Srednja Vas pri Šenčurju are dedicated to Saint Radegund and Saint Catherine. Saint Radegunde's is the older of the two with a Romanesque nave and Gothic frescoes from around 1440. Saint Catherine's is younger with a choir dated 1535.

GeoCaches found:
- Komenda – cerkveni hrib, Multi, GC6FBH9
- Planinski raj, GC3ARAH
- Katarina in Radegunda, GC3BMCA
