Slovenia: GeoCaching and Spa in Snovik

Rainy day was all about GeoCaching and relaxation in the nearby Spa in Snovik.

Monument at the Karolinska land is standing in front of the bridge over Ižica. Placed by the inhabitants of Ljubljana in 1834 as a sign of gratitude for making roads (1825-1827), which runs from Ljubljana to Ig and which were visited by Emperor Franz I. and Empress Karolina in 1830.

The Church of St. Michael, built between 1937 and 1940 at Ljubljana Marshes, belongs among the architect Jože Plečnik's most original creations. It combines the features of Greek temples with those of the churches of the Slovenian Kras region, which are characterised by open belfries as part of their front facades.

Today we found the last 2 missing pieces of this foot.
