Montenegro: Climbing in Boljske Grede, Day 2

Boljske Grede belongs to the southernmost part of Mt Durmitor massif and is long mountain ridge starting from the vast Dobri do and continuing to the south, gradually losing its height. Our mountaineering club AO Tržič decided to accept the invitation from Mali Alpinistički klub (local mountaineering club).

Our second day was about climbing. Alpinist Čopk was assigned to Rok and me and together we decided to climb Četverac, 600m, III/IV, traditional route. We started at 5 a.m. in the morning and approached quickly to the starting point. We searched for a while for the proper start of the route but since nothing really impressed us, we just started with climbing. After around 5 hours of climbing, mostly with the help of the grass, we reached the top. Group photo and we returned back to our base camp, mostly on pathless terrain.

Three other Slovenian formations were also successful, Zupan-Klančar with Slovenski steber, Tomazin-Rožič with Tržiška smer and Brus-Brus with Montenegro Experience.
