Austria: Backcountry Skiing to Schöpfing (2143m)

Our AO (Mountaineering section) decided to go Backcountry skiing in Austria, in Radstadt Tauern. Some decided to go to the Rettenwand Ridge, while Nada and me decided to conquer an easier destination, Schöpfing. Sun without clouds, fresh snow and a beer in the end mean only one thing - brilliant day.

Going up

Sun is coming out

Cloudless

Half way up

Sign for us, that our friends turned right. We decided to continue left.

Through the forest

Short break for a photography

Just a little bit more

Go Nada, Go Nada

View to the South

Last meters for me

Perfect day

Schöpfing (2143m)

Disturbed by the Sun

Nada, get up and come down

Yeah, it was great

First Backcountry Skiing this season
