Slovenia: Repairing Medion Lifetab E7322

Micro USB connectors are far away from being robust, so the kids can easily damage them, if try to plug the charger turned around for 180 degrees. That happened to my friend too and Aldi (Hofer)/Medion told her, that repair cost would be 100€, that is even 1€ more expensive then the new tablet.

That was obviously too much, so we decided to repair it ourselves. My co-worker Rok helped me and we changed the connector with a new one. Work was much easier as expected and the result, a normally working tablet.

A couple of photos taken from repairing
