Slovenia: Weekly Hike: Tivoli - Tivolski vrh - Šišenski hrib - Rožnik - Tivoli

Our sport and cultural society ŠKD Indijanci went on a forty-third morning hike (54th overall). This time we were without Rok and Grega, so we chose an easy track in the heart of Ljubljana. We gathered in Tivoli City Park from where we started to walk past Tivoli Castle to Tivolski vrh, 387 m. Our second peak was Šišenski hrib, 429 m, from where we continued to the last one, Cankarjev vrh (Rožnik), 394 m. Since we didn't want to take the same way back to our starting point we improvized a little, but that took us to hardly passable terrain, but like always, we managed to come back.

Visitation of Mary Church on top of Rožnik Hill lies next to an inn where the writer Ivan Cankar lived between 1910 and 1917.
