Our "hotel" Vuk for 15€ in Skopje |
Our first tour today was
Skopje fortress, unfortunatelly closed for visitors
.
Our next destination was the
Matka canyon, west from Skopje.
A couple of moments later we rode through small villages from
Skopje through
Tetovo to
Mavrovo Lake.
Macedonia and
Slovenia both share a name for a village called
Žirovnica or
Жировница, although they also have a river with that name.
We continued riding along the national boarder through city
Debar, near Lake Debar, we passed Lake Globocica and arrived to
Lake Ohrid in city
Struga.

Balkans, with a maximum depth of 288 m and a mean depth of 155 m . It covers an area of 358 km², containing an estimated 55.4 km³ of water. It is 30.4 km long by 14.8 km wide at its maximum extent with a shoreline length of 87.53 km, shared between
