Slovenia: Yearly Working Action on Korošica, Day 1

Pasture Korošica lays beneath the mountains and every year, typically on 15.6. farmers drove their cattle to the pasture for 3 months. Lately 2 plants expanded over the pasture and caretaker's son Vizo invited us to cut them.

• Rumex obtusifolius or bitter dock recognizable by its very large oval leaves
• Veratrum album or white hellebore, a poisonous plant

Our company organises summer team building every year and this year we went sailing. 8 sailboats had a quick competition on the sea.

Slovenia: Ride 2 Work

"Cycling to Work on Thursdays" event came again and today I was on a mission without Grega, so I chose a path over Rašica hill to work and I conquered it again on my way back.

Slovenia: Hike & Fly: Potoška gora

After yesterdays misfortune with the weather, Rok and me decided to do another hike & fly this morning. Our destination changed today and we hiked from Preddvor to Potoška gora from where we flew back to Preddvor.

Slovenia: Hike & Fly to Stol

Roke and me decided to fly from the highest peak of the Karawanks, so we went on an early hike. When we reached our take off point, the north wind was blowing and it blew away our plans. The only thing we could do, was to take back our paragliders back to the valley.

Slovenia: Tim's First Communion

My nephew Tim had a first communion ceremony in Bistrica pri Tržiču and the whole family gathered for this occasion. We attended the holy mass and afterwards we occupied the food.

Slovenia: Mountain Biking on local pastures and Schoolmates Meeting

In the morning my cousin Aleksander, Nada and me went on our mountain bikes. Our destinations were nearby pastures below Košuta ridge, Planina Pungrat, Planina Šija and Planina Kofce.

In the evening we had a class reunion. 20 years has passed since we finished the programme in Gymnasium Kranj.

My godfather and his wife took over the pasture this year, so we stopped by for a quick drink.
