Slovenia: Yearly Working Action on Korošica, Day 1
Pasture Korošica lays beneath the mountains and every year, typically on 15.6. farmers drove their cattle to the pasture for 3 months. Lately 2 plants expanded over the pasture and caretaker's son Vizo invited us to cut them.
- Rumex obtusifolius or bitter dock recognizable by its very large oval leaves
- Veratrum album or white hellebore, a poisonous plant
Previous working days: 2017 Day 1, 2017 Day 2, 2016 Day 1, 2016 Day 2, 2014, 2012 Day 1, 2012 Day 2
Hangovered hike
Cattle already occupied the pasture. You can see bitter dock on this photo. |
While we cut the unwanted plants girls prepared some delicious food.
