Austria / Slovenia: Waterfall Podkanjski slap and Nada's BD
With a drop of 54 meters, the Podkanjski slap (Wildenstein Waterfall) is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe. The waterfall is named after the ruins of Wildenstein Castle above it, which are said to have been destroyed in the Friuli earthquake of 1348. Nada, Bronco, and I visited it on Nada’s birthday, and it was a nice overture (Garmin Connect) to the evening celebration.
