Slovenia: Blood donation
Blood donation is no doubt one of the noblest forms of altruism. The number of donors places Slovenia within the European average, but, more importantly, makes Slovenia self-sufficient with respect to blood supply. Today Rok and me participated again donating the plasma with plasmapheresis.
New office for half an hour
Plasmapheresis is the removal, treatment, and return or exchange of blood plasma or components thereof from and to the blood circulation. After the process, we tested our new BubbleMaker at work. It worked, so the day was perfect.
