USA: Garmin Internal Conflicts

Garmin has very nice devices and I also own Oregon 600, touchscreen outdoor recreation GPS, but on the other hand it has big problems with its software and one of them, that has been torturing me for a while, is the incompatibility between their SW called Base Camp and online training tool called Garmin Connect. If you export the track from Base Camp you can not import it in Garmin Connect.

The solution is quite simple. You need to download and install Notepad++ and then you open the gpx file in this free editor. Then click on Encoding and convert the file to UTF-8 without BOM as shown on picture below.

Save the changed file and upload to Garmin Connect should work now.
