Slovenia: Another damaged HP laptop

A friend from my RW concert contacted me today and she said she has a damaged HP 6735s laptop. Black screen she said. Why not help a friend and do something good today? And we did it.

A lot of HP computers have problems with its North Bridge. When I turned on the laptop, the Caps Lock LED blinked 5 times. According to this link we had a "General system board failure". So we unscrewed almost 50 screws, took the main board out and reheat the IC.

So many screws. At least we have a nice environment

We finished with the main-board after a while and put everything back together and voilà, the laptop was working again. Thanks for the Laško six-pack Nika.
