Slovenia: Sold my Clio

After I came back from Aotearoa, I had to buy myself a car. It was Clio for 150€ and after half a year I sold it for 150€. Good deal. It was a good car and besides gas, insurance and some taxes I didn't spend money on it. Goodbye my friend.

Slovenia: Failed Hike

My friend Rok and me had a perfect plan for a two day hike with a stay at Pogačnikov dom na Kriških podih mountain hut, unfortunately due to bad weather it failed. Although the weather forecast was bad, we still went to our starting point, where it rained a lot. We wisely decided that it is better to drink a beer than to risk the hike to that hut.

We drove past Waterfall Peričnik. Waterfall is falling 52 meters low. We can take a look at waterfall from all sides, even from behind.

My dad's brother and sisters gathered at our weekend house and his was a great opportunity to get some delicious suckling pig and other goods.

Slovenia: Hiking with Kids, Party with Friends

Schools from Tržič and local alpine association organise monthly hiking trips to our mountains for their kids and since my niece is joining them, I also decided to go with them. We drove with the bus to Planina Kisovec and then started hiking uphill in three groups.

Slovenia: Red Bull Wild Ride, Eurobasket

At around noon I visited BMX & MTB dirt competition in an outstanding Divjina dirtpark. Local guys, known as a Red Shovel Team prepared a great polygon for bikers.

And today, the park was reserved for riders, and us, spectators. Beer, nice weather, great music and awesome jumps were with us whole afternoon.

BMX & MTB dirt competition in Slovenia - Red Bull Wild Ride 2013

After this event I went to Arena Stožice, Ljubljana, to see the basketball match between Greece and Slovenia. This time also Klemen's father joined us at the game (besides Klemen, Dejan and me).
