Today Burcu was working with her mum and Petr decided to work on his computer so Thilo and I decided to see a little bit of
Istanbul on our own. We took the ferry and soon we were at the entrance of the
Dolmabahçe Palace. Unfortunately it was closed due to some event so we went into a nearby
Naval Museum, which was also very nice and especially very cheap to see.
We walked then to
Ortaköy Mosque, also called Grand Imperial Mosque or inn Turkish Büyük Mecidiye Camii.

Soon we were on a bus towards
Karaköy and after that we walked over
Galata Bridge to
Spice Bazaar. After a quick walk-through we walked up to
Blue Mosque.

We were already quite tired from all day walking so we decided to go back. Petr was still pretending, that he is working. Burcu also closed her restaurant soon and we start running towards my favourite dish in Istanbul,
İskender kebab. I must say it still tastes magnificent. After the delicious dinner we went into a bar and drinks something. Still water for me and my pills.
