Slovenia: Bronco found a Goat

In the morning Bronco and me went for our morning walk and Bronco seemed nervous all the time. He wanted to go to the snowy meadow below some cliffs. On the way back from our walk I said, OK, let's have a look where you want to go and we found almost dead goat. We made some calls and then we left for home. 

Bronco found her, almost covered with snow. There wasn't much we could do here, beside calling the local hunter.

Slovenia: Prelaz Ljubelj

We continued with our hikes to Prelaz Ljubelj. The sledding track is ready, but we simply hiked up and down - Garmin Connect.

Slovenia: Tominčev slap and Za Šijo

Today Nada, Bronco and me visited our local waterfall Tominčev slap. It was a little frozen, but still not enough for ice climbing. We prolong the trip to an area called Za Šijo and then we returned back to our starting point - Garmin Connect.

Slovenia: Vrh Ljubeljščice

Bronco and me had a day off, so we decided to attend a geocaching event on Vrh Ljubeljščice. Since we were without a car, we simply walked to the top, greet the other geocachers and returned back to the valley. Unfortunately without skis - Garmin Connect.

We made it without special gear.

Slovenia: Prelaz Ljubelj

We continued with our hikes to Prelaz Ljubelj, and today we were awarded with nice fresh snow. The hut on top was open, so we also had a quick drink, before we decided to use a little less known trail back to the village - Garmin Connect.

 

Bronco was ready to move on, while Nada and me ordered a drink.

Our first hike in 2024 was to our usual place, Prelaz Ljubelj - Garmin Connect. This year's plan is the same as it was last year, simply conquer this nice location 40 times.

Slovenia: New Year Picnic with Neighbors

Meadow "Kralov travnk" hosted another neighborhood event. We gathered in the afternoon, wished each other a Happy New Year and then we started cooking local specialties. Cheers!
